“Very Scenic, a lot of water & crazy sand traps”

Nick Faldo designed, one of the best golf course in the area. Nice club house with good restaurant and facilities, ok pro shop with very good, almost new latest rental equipments.

The course is well designed, quite challenging with a lot of water and crazy sand traps. All greens and fairways are well groomed.

As in most golf course this part of the globe, there will be caddies, carts and all the services one can think of all for a very reasonable price.

      MAKE ALIGNMENT A PRIORITY

Sir Nick Faldo made it a habit throughout his career to put a club on the ground while practicing to make sure his body & Club face alignment was always aimed correctly.

Many amateurs address the ball with poor alignment and need to make swing compensations because of this misalignment which leads to inconsistency. The first thing to check if you start playing badly before trying to change your swing should be your alignment.

  THE SHAPE OF THE SWING

Ideally you want to have a swing path which sees the club approach the ball from slightly inside the ball to target line to be square to the ball to target line momentarily at impact and then return slightly inside the ball to target line post impact.

An effective drill to practice improving your swing path with your irons is to place one ball approximately 12 inches either side of the ball your hitting 2 to 3 inches inside the ball to target line.

The goal of this drill is to see swing the club just above the first ball on the downswing hit the shot and then see the club swing over the second ball on the through swing; spending time working on this drill will really improve both the strike and direction of your iron shots.

      GETTING OUT OF THE BUNKER

A lot of golfers struggle from the bunker, when playing greenside bunker shots is to try and send a handful of sand on to the green.

This simple objective will promote you to complete your follow through, take the correct amount of sand and will really increase your chances of getting the ball out of the bunker at the first attempt with a little practice.
